Enescu première

On Saturday April 29th 2017, Samuel Draper gave the UK première of great Romanian composer George Enescu’s Fourth Symphony, a masterpiece written in the 1930s but left partially unorchestrated at the composer’s death and later completed for performance by Romanian composer Pascal Bentoiu. It was performed by the Oberon Symphony Orchestra and the concert was given in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute, London, as part of their ‘Bentoiu Month’ series of events.
